Lead Software
Engineer

Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Dev who can take on a variety of tasks including, cloud, control, database design, and UI.

You will assume a leading role overlooking all aspects of our software and ensure programming best practice in our codebase.

You will implement a scalable systems architecture to manage our software and collect data live across hundreds of machines at multiple locations.

You will mentor others and eventually lead a team of software experts.

The Successful Applicant

Required:

  • 5+ years' relevant experience at engineering or software firms.

  • Recent experience with C++ and Git.

  • Current Full NZ driver license and willingness to travel (NZ).

  • Native English speaker or near-equivalent fluency.

  • Existing right to live and work in NZ without sponsorship.
     

Preferred:

  • Some understanding of hardware through education or life experience, particularly working with PCs, PLCs, stepper motors and/or sensors.

  • Experience with Linux, Python3 and SQL.

  • Exposure to computer vision.

  • Personal robotics projects and/or software portfolio.

  • Effective plain-language communicator.

  • Self-motivated.

Senior Software Engineer

Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Dev who can take on a variety of tasks including machine vision, algorithm development and AI.

The role will be working in a small team and will be developing new software from scratch as well as working with existing products. The work will involve all aspects of the programming process from architecture design to coding, to documentation and testing.

The Successful Applicant
 

Required:

  • 5+ years' relevant experience at engineering or software firms.

  • Experience working with vision systems

  • Recent experience with C++ and Git.

  • Current Full NZ driver license and willingness to travel (NZ).

  • Native English speaker or near-equivalent fluency.

  • Existing right to live and work in NZ without sponsorship.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who can assist our engineering team to further develop our products as well as develop new products from the ground up.

We are looking for someone with a high level of attention to detail. The work will span the entire mechanical design process from concepting new products to working with CAD, building prototypes and releasing documentation.

The Successful Applicant

Required:

  • 5+ years' relevant industry experience

  • Experience with Solidworks and PDM

  • Current Full NZ driver license and willingness to travel (NZ).

  • Native English speaker or near-equivalent fluency.

  • Existing right to live and work in NZ without sponsorship.
     

Preferred:

  • Experience with linear actuators, pneumatics and automation

  • Some understanding of electronics and software/control

  • Personal engineering projects

Senior Electronics/ Electrical Engineer

Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Electronics/Electrical Engineer who can lead the design of the electronic aspects of our systems.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a project. The work will involve analyzing existing systems and creating a spec for new systems going forward. There will be some PCB design where required. The work will involve some mentoring of other engineers.

  • 5+ years' relevant experience at engineering firms.

  • Experience with PCB design and electronics system design.

  • Current Full NZ driver license and willingness to travel (NZ).

  • Native English speaker or near-equivalent fluency.
