Kenntec was founded by Hamish Kennedy and his son Finn Kennedy in 2017, and has since developed an engineering team with specialist post-harvest industry experience.

With an Engineering Degree in Computer Systems from Auckland University, Finn has been the CEO at Kenntec since its formation.
He previously worked in a number of roles at Compac Sorting Equipment and leads Kenntec in the development of solutions for the problems that the post-harvest industry is facing.
Hamish Kennedy
Chairman
Hamish founded Compac Sorting Equipment in 1984 after completing a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Auckland University.
He then spent over 33 years building Compac into the worlds leading fruit sorting technology provider and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company.
